Your vote counts more than ever!

The General Primary for the 2024 election will be held on March 19, 2024. It seems like a long time away right now, but time passes quickly.

REGISTER

Make sure you’re registered to vote! The simplest way is via online voter registration. The deadline to change your address or register for the General Primary is March 3, 2024.

VOTE BY MAIL

The last day your vote by mail application will be accepted is March 14. Once you have your ballot, it must be postmarked no later than March 19 (that’s Election Day!) and must be received within 14 days of the election.

EARLY VOTING

The first day for early voting in Illinois is February 8. Bureau County voters can cast their ballots at the County Courthouse, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

GRACE PERIOD
The first day for grace period registration and voting is February 21. Grace period registration is only available in person at the Bureau County Clerk’s office.
